Terms of Pitch

1. Service Overview

KICKOFF is a digital platform designed to bring football enthusiasts together. We solve the "missing player" problem by connecting individual players who don't know each other into organized, high-quality matches at our designated pitches. Whether you are new to the city, your friends are busy, or you just want to play more football, we've got a spot for you.

2. User Eligibility & Registration

  • Age: You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate information (Name, Phone Number, Skill Level) to ensure the best experience for the community.
  • Account Safety: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your spot and receive a full refund if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled kickoff time.
  • Late Cancellations: Any cancellations made less than 24 hours before the match are non-refundable, as this disrupts the organization and prevents others from joining.
  • System Cancellations: If a match is canceled by the platform (e.g., due to insufficient players), a full refund will be issued to your account.

4. Personal Property & Theft Disclaimer

  • Sole Responsibility: You are strictly responsible for your personal belongings (mobile phones, wallets, car keys, gear, etc.).
  • No Liability: KICKOFF and the pitch facilities are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property occurring before, during, or after a match.
  • Zero Tolerance: Any reported theft will result in a permanent ban from the platform and potential legal action.

5. Code of Conduct (No-Show Policy)

  • Impact: Football is a team sport. Failing to show up without notice ruins the experience for the other 9, 14 players waiting to start the match.
  • Penalties: Repeat "No-Shows" or frequent late cancellations will result in 3 Warning Strikes. Continued violations after the third strike will lead to a two-week Account Suspension.
  • Sportsmanship: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for violence, verbal abuse, or unsporting behavior.

6. Limitation of Liability (Injuries)

  • Physical Risk: Football involves physical contact and inherent risks. By joining a match, you acknowledge these risks and agree that KICKOFF is not responsible for any physical injuries or medical conditions sustained during play.

7. Data and Privacy

  • Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to those practices.

8. Modifications

  • KICKOFF reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform signifies your agreement to the updated terms.
